Financial Aid Application (FAFSA) Deadlines

Priority will be given to applications submitted by or on:

Verification Document(s) for Federal Aid

Federal Loan Request

Students must submit requests by or on:

  1. Non-verification student loan requests will take up to 5 business days to process from the time of submission.
  2. Verification student loan requests are dependent upon when verification is completed. Once verification is completed, it can take up to 5 business days afterwards for awarding.
  3. During peak periods, the processing time for a loan request can take up to 2 to 3 weeks.

Deadlines for Tuition Aid Grant (TAG), Governor’s Urban Scholarship, NJ STARS, and Community College Opportunity Grant Programs

The FAFSA must be received by the federal processor (not postmarked) by the dates below to be considered for state aid (the Tuition Aid Grant (TAG), Governor’s Urban Scholarship, NJ STARS, and Community College Opportunity Grant programs).

Students who received TAG during the 2023-2024 academic year:

Disbursements

For students owed a refund, the Student Accounts department will begin processing refunds within 2 weeks of the scheduled disbursement date and will continue throughout the term.

Scholarships
